Crazy Days is almost upon us! Are you “Feeling Groovy for Crazy Days?” I hope so because that will be this year’s theme. Come on down on the 15th and 16th and have a gas supporting our local businesses and finding some good deals! There will be fun for anyone of all ages and keep your eyes peeled for the coloring contest that will be coming out soon. Businesses will by vying to win our best dressed contest so there’s sure to be some psychedelic people out and about. And if that isn’t rad enough for you there will be a cookout at Hy-Vee from 11am-2pm where you can come hang loose and get some fab food. Well that’s the skinny and we hope you will join us because it’s going to be righteous!
In the News
From the 11th – 18th the BARC will be holding it’s Silent Auction and on the 18th will be hosting a Community Block Party from 5-7pm and holding their Annual Meeting from 7-8:30pm. On the 19th Windom Senior Dining will be having $2 Tuesday Lunch (reservations required). Also on the 19th, Shalom Hill Farm will be having “Pizza on the Farm” from 5-7pm. Relay for life will be taking place on the 22nd starting at 4pm. And on the 30th, the Cottonwood County Historical Society will be having and Talk and Tea called “The Charm of the Full Bib Apron.”
Young Professionals Group
If you are younger than 40 you are welcome to join us in networking with other young professionals in the Windom area. Questions? Call the Chamber for more information.
Lunch and Learn
Friday, August 5th marks the sixth and final session of our Lunch and Learn Series. Come join us for a presentation on “The Secrets of Success” while you enjoy a nice lunch that will be provided. There is a limit of 18 people so sign up soon to get your spot! Admission is $10, however, the first ten Chamber members to sign up will receive $10 in Chamber Bucks.
